I have been on Linkedin for a while now. And I check it at least 4-5 times a day. A great help is Nicci my career counselor from school. She posts regularly on this site. I am feeling positive that something will appear. Keep on checking the site. Just for example professional conversations on (Looking for a Job) will give the user a good insight as to what is out there and what employers are looking for.
Today I connected with more invites on LinkedIn. I also joined more Association groups. This Thursday I will be going to a job fair at the St Regis Hotel, in Detroit. And I signed up for Read Point.com a great site for reading classics.
Today is September the 14th, 2010. I also added the JibberJobber.com networking blog site for organization to my target companies list and contact information to be added to positions that I have applied to. It is a great place to keep records and focus while job searching.
I am excited to share a new website for those who like to read at home without going to the library. I found Read Print.com a website for Classics to Modern to Fiction or Non-Fiction you choose I am reading Pride and Prejudice. Here is the Link: Read Print Books - thousands of free books by famous authors at your fingertips.
Today I had a Linkedin contact me via email. For a job opportunity at JCI Bridgewater Interiors for this Monday for C-170 launch. Focus seating. We will see a tour of the plant and what job I will be doing.
My grandson called me this morning before he went to school.
